This H-Beam drilling machine is popular with the steel structure, shipbuilding and chemical works industries. It automates the drilling of H-beams with high precision and very high throughput. Robot system pushes the H-beam forward, without any slide of length calculation. All 3 spindles for all sides drill simultaneously without the need to set the drill bit length. The machine can automatically detect the thickness of the beams and will automatically retract when the drill penetrates the plate thickness. It automatically changes from quick feeding to drill feeding speed when the drill bits touch the H-beam. When drilling penetrates through the plate, spindle automatically senses drilling pressure and retracts. These features allow the machine to be very easy to operate and to drill beams efficiently.
